Job purpose:
Working with the existing financial controller, the post holder will have overall responsibility for all commercial activities within the company to include monthly commercial reporting, contract negotiation, contractual arrangements, major claims and disputes input and leadership of the senior staff.

Job specification
The post holder will:

· have an excellent record within the Construction sector, preferably in traffic management.

· be familiar with Traffic Management Contracts and have a high understanding of the commercial functions with a Construction company.

· have excellent communication skills

· be a well organised manager of self and others

· have strong influencing and motivating skills

· have an open approach

· be a team player

· be flexible regarding travel overseas

 

Roles and responsibilities
The post holder will:

· oversee the day to day running of the Commercial functions of the business including claims

· oversee both pre and post contract commercial issues

· support the long term growth of the company which will involve playing an integral role in recruitment and progression of individuals within the company

· will be responsible and have a good understanding of reporting functions and claims issues
